He is the first Bangladeshi surgeon trained in CRS & HIPEC — advanced surgery for cancer that has spread within the abdominal cavity — at a renowned hospital in Northampton, England.
In 2004, Dr. Saha earned his MBBS with distinction from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College, Barisal, and went on to hold several clinical positions early in his career.
Driven by a deep interest in surgery, he completed his FCPS in Surgery in 2015 after advanced training at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital and Khulna Medical College Hospital — followed by years as Consultant at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital.
In 2016, he completed a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at Max Hospital, New Delhi. In 2019, he was awarded FACS by the American College of Surgeons, USA. In 2022, he earned his MS in Colorectal Surgery from Bangladesh Medical University (formerly BSMMU).
He now serves as Assistant Professor, Dept. of Colorectal Surgery, Bangladesh Medical University, alongside chamber practice in Dhaka and Jashore — with numerous seminar papers and journal publications to his name.
